Henri P. Uranus received engineer (Ir.) degree in electrical engineering in 1987 from Trisakti University, Jakarta, Indonesia, Master degree in optoelectronics in 1990 from University of Indonesia, Jakarta, and Ph.D. degree in modeling of integrated optics in 2005 from University of Twente, The Netherlands. From 1987 to 2001 he worked as an engineer for CV. Trans Komunikasi Data, Jakarta. From 2005 to 2008, he was a postdoctoral researcher in the University of Twente, working on photonic sensor.
From 2008 he joined Dept. of Electrical Eng., Univ. of Pelita Harapan, as a lecturer. He is currently the Head of Electrical Engineering and IEEE Senior Member. His research interests are in modeling, realization, and characterization of guided- and leaky-wave photonic devices. Keywords related to his interests among others are integrated optics, finite element method, photonic crystal fibers, integrated-optical sensors, mode solvers, and slow-light phenomenon in ring-resonators. |
