UPH team (Fernando Fen Lee - Wibowo Kristianto - Petrick Halim) got 2^nd place on the 6^th Engineering Festival and Competition (EFiCn) 2014 "Advancing National Economy through Auto Industry”.

EFiCn 2014 was held on 6^th to 9^th of May, 2014 at Universitas Pelita Harapan. It was the biggest annual event held by HMTI (Himpunan Mahasiswa Teknik Industri) UPH. This year, EFiCn 2014 was participated by 17 teams that came from various universities, namely Universitas Pelita Harapan, Universitas Indonesia, Universitas Gadjah Mada, Universitas Katholik Atma Jaya Jakarta, Universitas Katholik Parahyangan, Universitas Kristen Petra, Institut Teknologi Bandung, Universitas Sebelas Maret, Universitas Telkom Bandung, Institut Teknologi Nasional Bandung, Universitas Tarumanegara, Universitas Kristen Krida Wacana, and Universitas Diponegoro.

The competition started on May 6^th where all of the teams had to answer written multiple questions. The next day, the teams proceeded to the 2^nd round where they had to answer written essay questions. The score that each team got from 1^st and 2^nd round was accumulated to determine the temporary rank. Based on that rank, the committees then did the drawing to determine the groups for semifinal round. The semifinal round was Cerdas Cermat round. There were five groups and the winner of each group would then proceed to the final round. Those five teams were Universitas Pelita Harapan, Universitas Indonesia, Universitas Kristen Krida Wacana, Universitas Gadjah Mada, and Universitas Telkom.

For the final round, the finalists went to PT JNS Jaya Motor and did a case study there to improve the productivity using Industrial Engineering knowledge. They had to make a proposal and present it to a panel of judges on the last day of competition (May 9^th).
