Mathies Welcoming Party is our first monthly gathering. This event is intended to welcome our new batch 2017 students in hope that our new family members can feel warmly received and lay a strong foundation for our kinship to come.

Our Mathies Welcoming Party was held on August 24 th, 2017 at 4.30-7.00 PM at Universitas Pelita Harapan Building B616 and was attended by 70 students from various class batches. The event began with a prayer and opening speech from the head of organizing committee. The party was then continued with two fun and challenging games for everyone to engage. A flash mob presented by the committees was the highlight of the event that night. After that there was also sharing by 2 of our seniors, Grady Matthias Oktavian the 1st Winner of Ambassadors of UPH 2017 and Sergius Tadao Hayashi top 6 of Ambassadors of UPH 2016. The students finally enjoyed the snacks provided, accompanied with live music from our fellow Mathies. The excitement was then commemorated through our photo sessions.

The reaction given by the audiences was rather positive and this event shall hopefully be a remarkable event for them. May this event mark the beginning of our friendship and become a bridge connecting the seniors and freshmen. At last, HMM-UPH just want to welcome our new batch 2017 students and wish them good luck on their studies.
